Buenos Aires is hosting the 34th LGBTIQ+ Pride March under the slogan "Enough violence. Enough hate crimes". Thousands of demonstrators are marching towards the National Congress to demand an end to "the policy of hate and fascist violence". Participants are also calling for historical reparations for older trans and travesti adults and the repeal of decrees 61 and 62/25, which organizers claim violate established rights such as access to healthcare for trans adolescents and gender identity for incarcerated individuals. The event, organized by human rights groups, celebrities, and the LGBTIQ+ community, includes speeches, tributes, and protests against attacks on the community. A tribute was paid to Diana Sacayán, ten years after her murder, and a "pañuelazo" (a protest using handkerchiefs) was held in memory of victims. One of the main slogans of the demonstration is "Enough lies and stigmatization of trans children and adolescents and their allies. Access to hormones and blockers."
